Each verse represents a soul. Riddles battle a conscious mind. Every prose is overthrown. Each verse sticks to the grand theme in A Collection of Souls. Preston's Book of Verse is designed to help musicians write better lyrics. As a songwriter and performer, I understand we can use a jumpstart from time to time. To my fellow poets, compatriots, and writers from all walks of life, do not disregard the central theme in this book so easily. There is something in this book for every one of you to enjoy. If one man's trash is another man's treasure, we surely can find richness in the dumps. I have had the blessing of living around the Kankakee River most of my life. Nature tends to teach us more than books can. I published this book in a size that would complement your journey. Don't forget to compliment yourself every so often, and always praise God!
