25 Days was influenced by Prophetess Tiphani Montgomery, "The Year of the Bride," fast. I was not trying to be a bride this year but and was undecided if I ever again want to be someone's wife. I came across one of the Prophetess videos after just completing a fast. I was getting ready to start another one with the desire to do 25 days. Where I came up with that odd number, I don't know. I thought it was so strange that I wanted to do 25 days fasting. In the video I watched it was introducing the fast. Imagine the confirmation when she said it would be a 25 days fast. I began to double-minded, reluctantly follow the fast. It was like the next day, a close friend of mine, my Sis, Ruth Cajuste, (Thank GOD for Auntie Ruth) called me to invite to join a fast that she thought I would benefit from. It was "The Year of the Bride" fast. I was kind of already on board but I was going to be having my own protocols. Well, I started to follow as she (Prophetess Tiphani) was instructing. I went through the fast the best I can watching the daily videos which were pre-recorded then I did the fast again without watching the videos. This time I followed daily with "The Year of the Bride" book, reading a chapter a day. During that period, I was just writing my poems and performing/ministering them at various places with an open mind to having a romantic relationship. The poems in this book are a mixture of my emotional thoughts of pursuing healing in dark places. I realized that there were some things that needed to be broken off me. Even though I was full of light, I was visiting darkness.
I pray to shine bright and illuminate GOD's presence everywhere I am found. It's taken so much prayers and fasting but I know supernatural breakthrough has been established.
