The potato is now one of the major versatile food crops of the world because of the dry matter and edible energy content. Judicious application of different macronutrients and micronutrients increased in the production of potato. The objectives of this work were to know the effects of Zn and Mn on different growth parameters and yield of potato as well as to recognize the optimum doses for potato cultivation. Four levels of Zinc, viz. 0, 3, 4 and 5 kg Zn per hectare and also 4 levels of Manganese, i.e. 0, 1, 2 and 3 kg Mn per hectare were used for this work. The results of the work revealed that growth characteristics and yield were maximum at 4 kg Zn and 1kg Mn per hectare. These findings of the book might be helpful for farmer and farm entrepreneurs to increase the productivity of potato as well as business of the same.
