The foiling platform has been perfectly sized to fit in the Gemini Junior; however, you can also use the Foilpress with the original Gemini machine by using a Top Plate Extender (available separately). The Foilpress is not compatible with the smaller Gemini machines. The Gemini Foilpress is the only foiling machine to have a temperature control feature. It heats up quickly, meaning that you can start foiling almost immediately, and it is extremely simple to use. The temperature you select is determined by the material you wish to foil. In addition to this, the Foilpress has an LCD timer, counting down the time in both minutes and seconds.The comprehensive instruction manual included with each machine contains a 'Material Matrix' that will assist you when determining times and temperatures.
