Use this thread for hand applique, buttonhole and blanket stitch applique, Sashiko type work, red work, and backstitching or cross-stitching in 1 strand. This thread is superb for machine art quilting when heavier thread effects are desired. It looks beautiful on linen and denim fabric. Use a 90/14 topstitch needle. This thread can be used as a replacement for stranded and pearl embroidery threads for hand embroidery stitchery blocks. Each spool contains approximately 54 yards.
