On each space, there is a blackline drawing of something that begins with that letter, along with the printed word. Children choose from their hand of word-ending cards (40 in the game) to either form a word beginning with that letter or match the letter (if it's a vowel). If they can form a word or match the vowel, they get to take a hat token. The player with the most hats at the end of the game wins. Learning to read just became a whole lot more fun!
